Run, Walk for Young Heart Patients [AUDIO]

SARTELL – Young people in need of a heart transplant have a new organization to help them.
The Young Adult Heart Foundation is a new non-profit organization founded by 34-year-old Maria Legatt of Sartell. She went through a heart transplant less than a year ago on August 4th of last year.
She says she wanted to start the organization to bring more awareness to the community.

Their first fundraising event is this Saturday, it’s a 5K fun run/walk starting at 9:00 a.m. at Pine Meadow Elementary in Sartell.
