The Twins lost 2-0 at home against Kansas City Tuesday night.  Chris Young took a no-hitter into the 7th inning before Trevor Plouffe broke it up with a double down the right field line.  Young allowed just 1 hit in 6 1/3 innings to get the win.  Young and 4 relievers combined on the 4-hit shutout.  Greg Holland threw a scoreless 9th inning to get the save.

Trevor May threw 6 innings with 7 his and 1 earned run allowed to take the loss for the Twins.  Minnesota is 33-25 and is now 1 game back of the Royals for first place in the American League Central.

The Twins and Royals wrap up the 3-game series tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  Righthander Kyle Gibson (4-3) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and Edison Volquez (4-4) toes the rubber for the Royals.
