Rox Walk Past Rochester 6-5

The St. Cloud Rox scored the walk-off game-winning run when Phil Imholte scored from 3rd base on a wild pitch from Rochester in the 9th inning. Imholte was 2-3 with a run and 1 RBI for the Rox Thursday night.

Chris Paul was 2-5 with a run and 1 RBI and Tony Skjefte was 1-3 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI.

Zach Hirsch threw 7 innings with 10 hits and 4 runs (3 earned) and Alex Roberts threw 2 innings with 1 earned run allowed to get the win in relief.

The Rox have won 2 of their last 3 and are 7-20 on the season.

St. Cloud will host Rochester at 7:05 again tonight. Lefthander Tadd Johansen is the expected starting pitcher for the Rox.

Pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.

Friday night fireworks will take place after the game tonight.
