The Rox fell 6-4 to the Kenosha Kingfish Thursday night at Carson Park in Kenosha, Wisconsin. St. Cloud trails the best-of-three series 1-0.

The Rox fell behind 4-0 after one inning thanks in large part to Pat McInerney's three-run home run. St. Cloud had a few opportunities to close the gap, but were unable to find the clutch hits necessary to tie the game, ultimately stranding 14 runners on base.

John Sansone finished the game 2-5 with two runs batted in for St. Cloud, and Marcus Carson was 2-4 with a run batted in.

Sheldon Miks took the loss for the Rox, retiring just one batter while allowing four runs on five hits.

The Rox will host the Kingfish Friday night for game two at Joe Faber Field. First pitch on AM 1390 The Fan is scheduled for 7:05 PM and pregame coverage gets underway at 6:35.
