Rosemount Deaths Ruled Murder-Suicide

Preliminary autopsy results show 31-year-old Melissa Vasey shot her husband, 32-year-old Steven Vasey Jr., multiple times before shooting herself once.

Rosemount Police Chief Eric Werner says investigators still don't fully know what happened, but there were no indications of a struggle between the couple.

He says a relative called police after getting some type of concerning communication from the apartment, though he declined to give details because of the ongoing investigation. He says investigators believe the shooting happened shortly before police were notified.
