Rory A. Leeb, Sauk Rapids, 55

February 11, 1959 - August 2, 2014

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids for Rory A. Leeb, age 55 of Sauk Rapids who passed away at his home on Saturday, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Rev. Paul Cloeter will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Sauk Rapids. Friends and relatives may visit from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Trinity Lutheran prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.

Rory Alan Leeb was born on February 11, 1959 in St. Cloud to Clarence and Donna Jean (Taylor) Leeb. He was a 1977 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School. Rory married Wendy Schelkoph on October 20, 1979 in St. Paul. He worked for Bernick’s for 25 years, holding positions as a route driver, a supervisor, in the accounting department and was a coffee route salesman. Rory was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a Stephen Minister. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, gaming and spending time with his grandchildren. Family was very important to him.

Rory is survived by his loving wife, Wendy of Sauk Rapids; son and daughter, Brad of St. Cloud and Bethany (Chad) Ramler of Avon; parents, Clarence and Donna Jean of St. Cloud; sisters and brothers, Cheryl (Jim) Karpinski of Blaine, Dale (April) of Sauk Rapids, Gina (Pat) Kramer of St. Augusta and Todd of St. Cloud; and grandchildren, Lacey, Julia, Caleb and Amelia. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Leeb.

Memorials are preferred to the Coborn Cancer Center or Trinity Lutheran Church.
