Roger H. Eisenschenk, 64, Cold Spring

July 2, 1952 – January 30, 2017

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at St. John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville, MN for Roger H. Eisenschenk, age 64, who died Monday at the Good Sheperd Lutheran Home. Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the St. John the Baptist Parish Center on Fruit Farm Road in Collegeville. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Abbey Church Baptistry. Arrangements are with Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.

Roger was born in St. Cloud, MN to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Barthel) Eisenschenk. He farmed most of his life on the family farm North of Cold Spring. Roger enjoyed fishing, the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings and visiting with his relatives.

Survivors include his siblings, Leander (Elaine), Eugene (Dottie), Ronald (Charlotte), Dorothy (Jerry) Notsch, Ralph (Celeste), Frank (Mary Jo), Joanna (Jim) Ruprecht, Mark (Diane), Mary Ann (Steve) Terwey, Betz (Mike) Marquette and Lois Gilgen and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Roger’s family would like to thank the staff at Good Sheperd Lutheran Home and CentraCare Hospice for their care of Roger.
