ROCORI Voters Asked to Renew Levy

COLD SPRING - Voters in the ROCORI school district will be asked to renew a tax levy this November.

The school board has approved putting the question on the ballot, which would renew the $800,000 a year levy from 2007.

The levy isn't set to expire until 2013, but the board decided to put it on the ballot this year because they're not scheduled to have an election next year.  If it's approved, the levy would be extended for six years.

Residents will also vote on four open school board seats in the ROCORI district.
