Rocori Tops Hill Murray To Advance To Prep Bowl

The Rocori football team defeated Hill Murray 37-35 in the Class 4A State Semifinals at the Metrodome Saturday afternoon.  Rocori led 20-14 at halftime and led 37-21 in the 4th quarter before Hill Murray close the scored to 37-35 with 4:04 left.  Nate Meyer threw for 216 yards and 3 touchdowns and he ran for 101 yards for the Spartans.  Mac Mueller had 3 catches for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 26 yards and another score.

Rocori improves to 11-1 on the season and will play for the State Championship in the Prew Bowl against Bemidji at 3pm Saturday November 26 at 3pm, pregame on WJON at 2:50.
