COLD SPRING -- The St. Cloud Tech Tigers faced off versus the Rocori Spartans on a very cold September night.

Both teams struggled to find their offensive firepower, finishing with a first half score of just 6-3 in favor of the Spartans.

On the Tech Tigers first possession of the second half, Mussman and Martig connected on a 24 yard touchdown pass on fourth down.

The Tigers held the lead 10-6 for a short time, but the Spartans Quarterback Alex Buddy ran in a touchdown to retake the lead 12-9.

The Spartans scored another touchdown late to take the 18-9 lead.

The Tigers made things interesting as Poulson scored a Touchdown late to pull within two, but it was to little to late as the Tigers onside kick was unsuccessful.

The final score was Rocori Spartans 18, and the Tech Tigers 16.

The Tech Tigers fall to a record of 1-2 while the Rocori Spartans improve to 2-1.

The Tigers will  face off versus Moorhead next week.
