COLD SPRING -- The Rocori Area Food Shelf task force hopes to raise $50,000 tomorrow at a spaghetti benefit dinner.

The task force has partnered with the Lions Club in hopes to raise enough money to relocate the food shelf. It's currently is in the basement of a bank which isn't ideal.

From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. you can enjoy a dinner at St. Boniface Parish Center in Cold Spring. There's also a silent auction and quilt raffle.

Karla Rolfzen is a social services program coordinator at the St. Cloud Area Salvation Army. She says the money raised will be matched by a grant from the Lions Club.

The task force wants to build a new building that they think will cost about $100,000. They don't have a location picked out yet but they want a location in Cold Spring with good parking and greater accessibility.

Tickets are availible in advance at the Cold Spring Bakery for $9.00 or $10.00 at the door. You can send donations to the Cold Spring State Bank. Make sure you indicate that it's for the food shelf fund.
