Rockville Man Hurt In Kandiyohi County Crash

BLOMKEST -- A Rockville man is hurt after a two vehicle crash in Kandiyohi County Friday morning.

The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 7 and County Road 5.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 46-year-old Scott Niewohner, of Nebraska, was heading north on county road 5 when he pulled out onto Highway 7 and hit another car.

Niewohner was not hurt.

The driver of the second vehicle, 65-year-old Vernon Ashfeld of Rockville, was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
