The Rox saw their playoff hopes essentially evaporate in a 6-3 loss at Mayo Field in Rochester Wednesday night. The loss drops St. Cloud to 17-16 on the season, three games out of first place with just four games left in the season.

St. Cloud led the game 3-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning thanks to a two-run home run from Will Craig in the top half of the seventh, but the Rox bullpen gave up a pair of runs to allow the Honkers to tie the game.

Fourth-year Honker Reid Roper hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the eleventh inning to secure the win for Rochester.

St. Cloud hosts last-place Thunder Bay at 7 PM at Joe Faber Field.
