Robert W. Rucks, 61, St. Cloud

June 25, 1955 - September 2, 2016

Robert W. Rucks, age 61, of Sauk Rapids passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. Robert was born on June 25, 1955 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Harold and Dolores (Kloeppner) Rucks.
Robert married Gail Gnifkowski on August 2,1975 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Robert worked at the Sartell Papermill for 10 years. Robert enjoyed the north woods and nature; especially gardening, woodworking, landscaping and being outdoors. He found solace in nature, where he could embrace his quiet side and find peace. Robert loved his family and grandchildren beyond words. He will be remembered as kind, loving and gentle.

Robert is survived by his wife, Gail of Sauk Rapids; children, Wayne of Sauk Rapids, Sarah (David) Bengtson of St. Cloud; mother, Dolores of Sartell; siblings, Cindy (Hank), Sue (Duane), Mary (Duane), Rich (Sonia), John (Barb), Mike (Carmen); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold and sister, Valerie.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM followed with a funeral service at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids. Chaplin Adam Sohre will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Country Manor Chapel or St. Katherine Drexel School.
