Robert Katke, age 75, of Gilman, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at St. Benedict's Care Center, St. Cloud.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, April 24, 2015 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home followed by the Knight's of Columbus Rosary at 7 PM. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Robert Katke was born November 27, 1939 in Alberta Township, Benton Co., to John and Veronica (Moulzolf) Katke. He married Karen Chmielewski on July 6, 1964 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville. He lived and farmed his entire life in Alberta Township, Benton County. Robert enjoyed ice fishing, working outdoors and driving tractors and going to the casino. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Gilman Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Mary Council 9261 and SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, Gilman, sons and daughter; John, Sauk Rapids; Milo (Pattie Bixbie), Foley; Ann (Craig) Barringer, Becker, 6 grandchildren; Anthony Katke, Brittany Katke, Cole, Cade and Allie Barringer and Myah Katke. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Mark, 1993 and daughter, Mary, 2014 and sister, Josephine Sczech.
