Robert John “Huntz” Hansen, 67, Cold Spring

December 4, 1949 - May 12, 2016

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, MN for Robert John “Huntz” Hansen, age 67, who died Thursday at the VA. Inurnment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Huntz was born in St. Cloud to Wilfred and Margaret (Korn) Hansen. He served in the Army from 1971 to 1977. Huntz was a kind hearted and generous man who would do anything for anyone. He loved all sports, staying up to date on current events and taking trips to the casino.

Survivors include his children, Cindy, Kurt and Christy; siblings, Elizabeth (Mark) Phillippi, Mary Lou (John) Klares, Rosie McClanahan (Bob Hegstrom), Alen (Patty) Hansen, Mike Hansen, Lorraine (Gabe) Schmitt and Bernice (Kurt) Kunkel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
