Robert H. Peterson, 76

April 17, 1941 - September 5, 2017

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM at Lake Orono in Elk River, MN, on Saturday September 9, 2017, for Robert “Bob” H. Peterson who passed away at his home on Tuesday. Family and friends are welcome to arrive at 1 PM at the shelter at Lake Orono. Following the Memorial Service, per Bob’s wishes, there will be a picnic in his honor. All who attend are welcome.

Bob was born to the late Herman E. and Lela Basore Peterson in Pine River, MN. Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country proudly. For most of his life after the service, Bob owned a restaurant, convenience store, a welding shop and later in life, drove a school bus.

Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and most of all being with his family.

Bob is survived by his wife Pearl, daughters Tammy (Kenneth) Scheneman of Princeton, MN; LaDawn (Douglas) Kok of Princeton, MN; two sisters, Ercil Posey of Pine River, MN, and Sherry Peterson of Shakopee, MN. Bob is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.
