River Bats Commit 4 Errors In Loss To Mankato

The St. Cloud River Bats committed 4 errors and allowed 6 unearned runs in their 8-1 loss to Mankato at Joe Faber Field Tuesday night.  Mankato scored 3 2nd inning runs.  Carlos Lopez went 2-4 with 1 RBI and Mitch Garver was 3-4 with a run scored for St. Cloud.  Jon Richard threw 6 1/3 innings with 5 hits and 6 unearned runs with 8 strikeouts to take the loss for the Bats.

St. Cloud is 12-18 and will host Mankato again tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.  Sponge Bob Square Pants will be at tonight's game.  It's also Dollar Dog Wednesday.  Each hot dog is $1 apiece.
