River Bats Beat Willmar 8-7 In 5 Innings

The St. Cloud River Bats defeated Willmar 8-7 in 5 innings Sunday night in Willmar.  The game was shortened to 5 innings because of storms and rain in Willmar.  Bryan Haar went 2-3 with a homerun 2 RBIs and Haar got the win by throwing 1 shutout inning with 2 strikeouts.  Derek Campbell went 2-2 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Carlos Lopez hit a solo homerun for St. Cloud.

The Bats are 3-2 in the 2nd half and will host Willmar tonight at 6:05 in a doubleader.  Hear tonight's action on AM 1390-the Fan with coverage beginning at 5:35.

The two teams will play 2 7-inning games to make up for a previous rainout.  The inflatamaniacs will entertain the fans tonight.  It's also "throwback Monday" meaning that General Admission tickets are $4 apiece.
