Rita M. Kruchten, 86, St. Cloud

April 4, 1929 - August 23, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Rita M. Kruchten, age 86, of St. Cloud, who died August 23, 2015 at the Talahi Care Center in St. Cloud. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will take place in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Parish Prayers will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Rita was born April 4, 1929 in Cold Spring, MN to Joseph and Mathilda (Keul) Keil. She married Al W. Kruchten on June 6, 1949 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. She lived all of her married life in St. Cloud. She was employed at Franklin Manufacturing for some years. She was a charter member of the St. Cloud Eagles Ladies Auxilary. She enjoyed gardening and visits from her grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her children Wayne (Meriam) of Clearwater, Dori (David) Ferdon of Rochester, and Connie (David) Baller of North Liberty, Iowa, eight grandchildren Phillip, Zaldie and Hamilton Kruchten, Joseph and William Ferdon, Alex, Kasey and Kelsey Baller, and four great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were parents, husband Al (2014), and sisters Flora Schwartz and Leona Loscheider.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
