September 10, 1942 - June 24, 2015

 

Memorial mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 AM Monday June 29, 2015 at the Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids for Richard Stockinger who died Wednesday at the University Of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. Fr. Thomas Dufner will officiate. Private family burial will be on Tuesday at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services on Monday morning at the church in Coon Rapids. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Richard was born in St. Cloud to Richard & Helen (Byers) Stockinger. He married Marie Louise Fritz on October 22, 1962 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He worked as a Lithographer for many years in the printing business and most recently worked for the Anoka-Hennepin School District in the Staff Development Center. He is a member of the Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids.

Richard was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with his family; whether fishing, playing cards, or just sitting at the camp fire. His kids and grandkids were very important to him. He loved fishing, and spent many weekends on Lake Osakis at the cabin. He also enjoyed bird watching.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; 2 sons and 3 grandsons, Michael Stockinger and Alec; James (Karla), Jacob (Kelli) and Raymond. He is also survived by his brothers, John (Sue), George, and Mark (Thea) and nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
