Rice Woman Hurt in Baxter Crash

BAXTER -- A rice woman was hurt in a crash earlier this (Wednesday) afternoon.

The state patrol says the incident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Beach Road and Highway 371 in Baxter.

Sixty-one-year-old Gayle Nelson of Brainerd was driving southbound on Highway 371, as he slowed down for traffic he was rear-ended by 53-year-old Marjorie Kirsling of Rice.

Kirsling suffered from non-life threatening injuries. Nelson was not hurt in the crash.
