ST. CLOUD -- Heavy rain played a factor in a one vehicle crash in South St. Cloud last (Sunday) night.

The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. along County Road 75 at Sportsmans Road.

Sergeant Jason Burke says a 16-year-old kid from Rice was driving south on County Road 75 during the storm, when another vehicle passed him and splashed water on the windshield, causing him to lose sight of the road.

The driver then lost control, went off the road and overturned. Officers arrived to find the vehicle upside down on Sunridge Road.

Burke says the driver was treated for his injuries at the scene and released.
