ST. CLOUD -- Exercise seems to make the top of our New Year's goals every year, but sticking with it is a challenge.

CentraCare Health Exercise Specialist John Inkster says that exercising once a day can put you in a better mood.

At least thirty minutes a day is one of the requirements that defines your workout as healthy exercise.

Inkster says to avoid injuries, ease into an exercise program if you haven't worked out in a while.

Walking around your house or the mall is a good substitute if you are not comfortable working out at the gym.

Inkster says making exercise fun and doing different programs will help you stick with your goal longer. Those who do the same routine every day have a greater chance of losing interest.

Coming up tomorrow (Wednesday) we will have some tips for those of you who have a resolution to save money.
