Report: Local Business Leaders Want Expanded I-94

ST. CLOUD -- A majority of St. Cloud business leaders say expanding Interstate 94 is the most important transportation project for Central Minnesota.

The transportation question was part of St. Cloud State University's Quarterly Business Report.

Forty-five percent of respondents believe adding more lanes on I-94 between Minneapolis and St. Cloud is their number one concern.  Twenty percent think attracting an airline to the St. Cloud Regional Airport is the most important priority, and 16% favor expanding the Northstar Commuter Rail to St. Cloud.
