Abby Faulkner

COLLEGEVILLE – It’s that time of year again – the Regional Spelling Bee for Central Minnesota is tomorrow in St. John’s University’s auditorium.

Contestants are 5th through 8th graders representing nearly 30 communities in central Minnesota.

The bee will include both 9a.m and 1p.m. rounds to accommodate a larger than usual number of contestants.

The top two spellers in each of the rounds will then advance to the Multi-Regional bee in Fergus Falls on March 1st.

And check out this video of last year’s highlights in advance of the tournament tomorrow.
