UNDATED -- Several departure ceremonies for the Minnesota National Guard will be held in Central Minnesota over the next few days.  The First Brigade Combat Team, 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, is scheduled to depart Minnesota in the next few weeks in support of Operation New Dawn in Iraq.

At 2,400 soldiers, this is the second largest deployment of the Minnesota National Guard since World War II.

A ceremony will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1:00 p.m. at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria.  Another ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) at VictriVillage in Sauk Centre.

On Thursday, ceremonies will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Hutchinson McLeod Fairgrounds, and at 5:30 p.m. at Sartell's Bernick's Arena.

The final ceremony will be on June 3rd at the Camp Ripley Recreation Center at 6:00 p.m.
