Rebecca Ann Thun, age 67, of Milaca, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Memorial services will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley. Rev. Allen Jergenson will officiate.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday at the Foley Funeral Home. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Rebecca Ann Thun was born November 14, 1948 in Parker's Prairie, Minnesota to Clinton and Florence (Zuelke) Thun. Rebecca graduated from Parker's Prairie High School in 1966. She married Bruce Peterson in 1967 and lived in New Jersey; moving back to Minnesota in 1970. In 1978, she married John Haas. She enjoyed traveling and had achieved both her commercial and private pilot licenses. She was also certified as a radio operator. Rebecca enjoyed painting, playing piano and singing, crocheting and seamstress work, as well as horses and the Kentucky Derby. She especially loved her family.

Rebecca is survived by her daughters and son; Bobbi Peterson of Colorado, Christin (Derek) Miller of Oak Park, and Sam Haas of St. Francis; grandchildren: Amanda, Tyler, Henry and Claire; great-granddaughter, Nicole; sister, Kate (Harland) Jahnke of Parker's Prairie; brothers: Chuck Thun of Minneapolis and Richard Thun of Colorado; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas and sister, Lois Bryan.
