Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud for Ralph B. Robak, 80, of Sartell who passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Rev. David Grundman will officiate and entombment will be in Assumption Mausoleum will full military honors. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until the time of service at the church on Thursday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Ralph was born in St. Cloud to Bernard and Norma (Lucius) Robak on January 10, 1936. He grew up in the St. Cloud area attending St. Anthony’s Elementary School and Cathedral High School. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He met the love of his life Pauline “Polly” LaTour on a blind date and the couple later married on September 24, 1960 at St. Ignatius Church in Annandale. As the couple raised their three children, the family enjoyed quality time together camping and traveling. Ralph was employed as a machine tender at Champion International Paper Company for 41 1/2 years until his retirement in 1998. Ralph was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, a life member of East Side VFW #4847 and also a past member of the St. Cloud Eagles Aerie #622. He walked strongly in his faith consistently carrying a rosary in his pocket and knowing his Lord would take him home. Ralph enjoyed deer hunting, Walleye fishing, spearing in winter months, and the simple serenity of nature’s beauty. He relished in a competitive game of cribbage or golf and had an enormous amount of love in his heart for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Pauline “Polly” of Sartell; children, Julia (Merlon “Butch” Lingenfelter) Robak of Whitman, Nebraska, Jodi (Tim) Gross of St. Cloud, Jeffrey “Jeff” Robak of Sartell; grandchildren, Travis, Amanda, Ashley, Adam, Christopher, Denver and Ellie; six great- grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Donald “Donny” (Nancy) of St. Cloud, Bernice “Bernie” Robak of Tulsa, OK, Mary Ann (Dennis) Stukenberg of Champlin, Beverly “Bev” (Ron) Large of Langley, OK, Norma Jean (David “Dave”) Birr of Buffalo, Richard “Rick” (Susie) of Bixby, OK, Carol “Carrie” (Glenn) Buntin of Tulsa, OK, and Debra “Debbie” (William “Bill”) Miller of Highland Ranch, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Eugene Richard.
