Rain Stops Just in Time For Waite Park Grand Day Parade [VIDEO]

WAITE PARK – The heavy rain stopped just in time to allow Waite Park to host its annual Grand Day Parade on Saturday.

About a half inch of rain fell in the morning hours before the event. The parade featured several local marching bands, local businesses, police and fire vehicles and much more.

The parade is part of the 50th Annual Waite Park Family Fun Days.

The Fun Days end on Saturday night with an outdoor concert in the Community Park with music from The White Lightnin’ Band and The Fabulous Armadillos.

The music will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Food vendors and beer gardens will also be available at the park.
