UPDATE: Rain Possible for Much of Minnesota Today

UNDATED - The National Weather Service says cClouds and rain will overspread the region today (Thursday).

A brief respite in the precipitation is expected on Friday, but then stronger storms are expected over the weekend as more warm and moist air builds into the region. The threat for severe storms will shift east throughout the weekend as a low pressure system moves across the area.

Most areas will receive over an inch of rainfall between today and late Sunday.
