My new radio friends the Reichel Family, have sent us this great video for Gluten Free Apple Crisp. Kaitlyn and Joseph,  I'm going to squeeze those cute little cheeks right off, and give you a great big hug!  I love you're family!  :-)

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 large apples pealed and sliced
  • 2-4 Tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup butter softened but not melted
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans if you prefer
  • 1/4 cup coconut

DIRECTIONS

Place slices apples in the bottom of a 9 x13 pan. Coat with white sugar. In a bowl combine brown sugar, rice flour, cinnamon, oats, and butter until crumbly. Mix in nuts and coconut. Spread topping on apples and bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until apples are soft.
