Quarry Park Ripe for Cross-Country Skiing

The snow has stuck, and now’s the time to get outside and enjoy some cross country skiing. Chuck Wocken is the Parks Director for Stearns County, and he says that Quarry Park in Waite Park is one of the best cross country ski spots around.

It’s free to ski, but you’ll need to buy a parking permit. You can buy daily parking at the park entrance, or find 12 month permits on Ste.
