Public Meetings Announced For Superintendent Search

St. Cloud -- St. Cloud area school officials are beginning to narrow down the candidates for the next superintendent. A special board meeting will be held tonight (Tuesday) to select candidates to be interviewed for the open position. Candidate interviews will take place from 4 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The final two or three candidates will be selected in a second special board meeting Thursday night.

Community members will be able to meet the final candidates in another round of interviews next week. The board will select a new superintendent next Wednesday night. The position opened up after current Superintendent Bruce Watkins announced he will be retiring at the end of June.
