Prescripton Drug Drop-Off Events Scheduled

ST. CLOUD -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office and Stearns/Benton Physicians Association are holding two events to dispose of prescription drugs this month.

Unused medications can be dropped off at the Senior Expo at the River's Edge Convention Center this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Deputies will also be on hand at Summertime By George Wednesday, August 20th from 5:00-9:00 p.m.

The collection dates are in addition to permanent drop boxes at the Stearns County Sheriff's Office and the Melrose, Paynesville, Sartell and Waite Park Police departments.
