Prayer Vigil For The Disadvantaged In Downtown St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A prayer vigil will be held on the steps of the Cathedral of St. Mary Church in downtown St. Cloud tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

The interfaith prayer vigil is intended to draw support for the disadvantaged, as state lawmakers consider budget cuts to some of those programs.

Spokeswoman Kathy Langer says the Interfaith Vigil for the Common Good will be the first in a series of vigils throughout the state.

It's co-sponsored by Catholic Charities and the Joint Religious legislative coalition.  The prayer vigil will begin at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) night.
