UPDATE – Power Knocked Out In Parts Of Benton, Mille Lacs Counties

UNDATED -  East Central Energy has restored power to most of their customers.  They say they still have about 350 members, mostly in Mille Lacs County, without power this (Tuesday) afternoon.

At it's peak they had about 1,600 members without power, after a thunderstorm swept through Benton, Sherburne and Mille Lacs counties this morning.

If you are in that area and are without power, call East Central Energy at 1-800-254-7944.  And, remember to stay away from downed power lines.
