Poor Road Conditions Lead to Three-Vehicle Crash Near Sartell

LE SAUK TOWNSHIP -- Poor road conditions Wednesday are being blamed for a three vehicle crash that included a St. Cloud Metro Bus.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 76-year-old Rita Stangler of St. Stephen lost control of her car on County Road 1 near Sartell, crossed the center line and hit a snowbank in the opposite lane.

An oncoming car driven by 45-year-old Jon Fredrickson of Kimball was unable to avoid Stangler's car and collided with it.

A Metro Bus driven by 32-year-old Ben Koubsky then struck Fredrickson's car.

All three drivers were wearing their seatbelts and no one was hurt.
