UNDATED - Precinct caucuses are tonight (Tues) across Minnesota. They're the first step as political parties build their platforms, and caucuses are the first step in choosing delegates to endorsing conventions that later this year will choose candidates for governor, Congress, the Minnesota Legislature and other elected offices.

Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says at precinct caucuses people can hear how their neighbors are thinking and raise issues affecting the community, the nation and the world.
