SOUTH ST. PAUL (AP) - South St. Paul police didn't have to work too hard to catch up with a man who broke into a house and stole credit cards, cash and a watch.

Police say the burglar used the homeowner's computer and logged onto Facebook last week. But, he failed to log off.

Homeowner James Wood says he has to be the "world's dumbest criminal." Wood posted his phone number on the burglar's Facebook page, hoping that someone would call him. He says he got a text from the burglar. Wood offered to return the wet clothes the burglar had left behind because it was raining.

The two agreed to meet. And when Wood spotted the burglar, recognizing him from his Facebook profile, he called police who made an arrest.
