Police Seek Target Shoplifting Suspect

ST. CLOUD — St. Cloud Police are asking for your help in identifying and finding a man who stole merchandise from Target East today.

Police say a Target employee was trying to detain a man who was suspected of stealing electronics from the store when an altercation broke out outside the store. The incident happened at about 11:20 a.m. at the store located in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue Southeast.  Police say the suspect pulled out a folding knife and pointed it at the employee. He fled in a white Dodge minivan with a black luggage rack on the roof.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20’s. He was wearing dark pants, dark blue coat and dark blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on it.

If you have information about the suspect, contact the St. Cloud Police Department at (320) 251-1200 or Tri-County Crimestoppers at (320) 255-1301. You can remain anonymous.

You can also text a tip to Crimestoppers.  Enter 274637 (“Crimes”) into the destination box, start your text with TRITIP, enter a space, then type in the tip information.
