Police Seek Group of Men in Saturday Assault

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park Police are investigating an assault that happened late Saturday night.

Officers were called to the 200 block of 2nd Avenue South just before midnight where they found a man with facial injuries.

Police say two men were walking when a group of black men approached them and started assaulting them. One man was able to escape. The other man, a 32-year-old St. Cloud resident was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Waite Park Police are looking for anyone with information on the crime to call them
