Police Search For Suspects In Fatal Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Authorities are searching for suspects after a man was gunned down in the middle of the day in north Minneapolis.

The man was found dead on Saturday in an alley between Dupont and Colfax avenues, near 39th Avenue.

Police were searching Sunday for a white passenger car and they were interviewing witnesses as they tried to determine who was responsible.

Police spokesman John Elder says the incident did not appear to be random.

The victim's identity was not immediately released.
