ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police responded to two separate car crashes in a four hour span yesterday (Friday).

Officers responded to the first crash on Highway 23 and 33rd Avenue just after 3:00 p.m.

A vehicle occupied by a 66-year-old couple from Brook Park was re-ended by another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was 43-year-old Carrie Leddy from Pipestone.

Both victims were taken to VA Urgent Care for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers say Leddy was drunk and is being held at the Stearns County Jail. She faces charges of Criminal Vehicular Operation, 2nd Degree DUI, driving after suspension, open alcohol container and texting while driving.

Officers responded to the second crash just before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Waite Avenue and 2nd Street South.

Police say 53-year-old Kathy Lau turned in front of another vehicle driven by an 18-year-old woman.

Two people were take to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Lau was cited at the scene for failing to yield.
