ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A St. Paul police officer has been put on leave after being accused of using someone else's identity to funnel money to a man in prison.

St. Paul police say the woman is a school resource officer who has been working at Humboldt High School for some time. They say she had a relationship with the prisoner, 21-year-old Ramone Smaller.

Charges were expected Friday against the officer in Hennepin County, which is handling the prosecution.

Smaller was charged Friday with 10 counts related to shootings in St. Paul last fall.
