Police: Minneapolis Man Shoots At Brothers, Hits Mom

     MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis police say a fight between two brothers has left their mother in critical condition after a third man shot at the men and hit the mom.

Police spokesman John Elder says the two men were fighting Sunday afternoon when a third man drove up and butted into the altercation near a street corner. He says it doesn't appear that the shooter knew the two men. The man drove away after the shooting.

Elder says the mother was hit in the chest but it doesn't appear her injures are life-threatening.

He says the shooting is under investigation and police have several witnesses. Police haven't identified the people involved.
