EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Police say a Minneapolis man may be responsible for dozens of burglaries across the Twin Cities.

Police arrested the 60-year-old man on Dec. 4 as he was burglarizing a hair salon in Plymouth.

The arrest followed an investigation into a string of burglaries between late October and early December.

Authorities believe the man may have committed for more than 60 burglaries of businesses in strip malls in 13 cities across the Twin Cities.

Eden Prairie Police Sgt. Dave Becker says cash apparently was the primary target, but sometimes TVs and computers also were stolen.

More than $10,000 in cash was stolen. Police say the suspect would pry open a door to get into the business.

The man is being held on a parole violation.
