Police: Man Shoots Wife’s Co-Worker, Self
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) - Police say a man fatally shot his wife's co-worker outside her workplace in Roseville and then killed himself.
Officers were called to a parking lot outside CPI Card Group about 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Authorities say 33-year-old Joseph Yang of Brooklyn Park had been shot as the wife of the shooter watched. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports say the shooter, 44-year-old Cheng Vang of Roseville, then shot himself and died about two hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Investigators recovered a pistol near Vang's body.
Police say Vang's wife was not hurt. She has been cooperating with investigators and is not considered a suspect in Yang's death.
Police say Vang may have believed Yang and his wife were having an affair.
