Police Looking For Suspect in Eden Valley Assault

EDEN VALLEY -- Police are looking for a suspect who assaulted a man Friday morning in Eden Valley.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. on County Road 9 east of Eden Valley.

A man was out for a bike ride when he was approached and assaulted by another man.

The suspect is descibed as having darker skin -- possibly Hispanic -- 5-feet 10 inches tall with short, dark and curly hair with scratches on his face from the scuffle. The suspect was wearing a Northern Line Railway hat and a t-shirt that said "Una Mas" on it and left the scene in a noisy green Subaru Outback.

He may be from the area, as the victim said the suspect mentioned a farm that he worked or lived at.
