FRIDLEY (AP) - No one was hurt when a gun fired inside a Target store in Fridley. But, police want to find the gun owner.

Authorities say surveillance video shows the handgun slipping from a man's waistband near a checkout line Sunday evening. The gun fired and a bullet bounced off the floor and hit the ceiling.

Shoppers say the man immediately left the store after the gun went off. Troy Brown says he was about 50 to 60 feet away when the shot was fired. Brown says everyone just stood in place looking shocked.

The company's website says it doesn't ban customers from carrying guns inside their stores. But, Target issued a statement last year that "respectfully" asks customers not to bring firearms in its stores.
